Firm of Messrs. Leigh and Orange. I have, therefore,

decided that Mr. Baker may be allowed to draw salary at

the rate of £700 per annum as from the date of Mr. Steen's

departure on leave, retaining the consolidated allowance

of £150 per annum of which he is already in enjoyment and

with a house allowance of £60 per annum under a new

arrangement separately reported to you.
